The Canyons is the largest single ski and snowboard resort in Utah and one of the five largest in the U.S. The Canyons is located in Park City, a fabulous mountain town full of diverse dining, arts, recreation, nightlife and activities.

Ski School at the Canyons

Children and adults can take private or group lessons. The Canyons also offers an excellent day-care program.

Specialty Ski Programs at the Canyons

3-Day Steep Skiing Camp: Hosted by World Extreme Skiing Champion Brant Moles and designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to take their big mountain skiing to the next level.
Program Dates: 2/3-5/2012 & 3/2-4/2012

Women’s Programs: Holly Flanders 3-Day Workshops The Canyons offers specialized women’s workshops directed by Olympian and World Cup champion Holly Flanders. Participants are challenged at a level in which they feel comfortable and safe.

Mountain Tips

  • Start at the Red Pine Lodge, the lifts access terrain for all levels of skiing, so it’s a great base for family and friends to ski together or meet for lunch.
  • Venture out and explore the massive terrain of intermediate and expert runs, and you will surely escape the crowds and find the perfect run for you.
  • For those expert skiers up for the challenge, try Murdock’s Peak and ski untracked powder or ski steeps from Ninety-Nine 90.

First Tracks – Start your Day on Untracked Terrain

Watch the sun rise as you ride up the first chair of the morning in the First Tracks program. A former winter Olympian will guide you through selected areas of the mountain one full hour before the mountain officially opens to guests.
